Travel Insurance
When planning for a trip, insurance is the last thing most
people think about. Sometimes, travellers assume that their
medical expenses will be paid by government health insurance.
Unfortunately that is not true. If you became sick or injured
in a foreign country, your government health insurance plan
would pay for only a fraction of the benefits you might need
or in some cases none at all.
Whether you are going on a single trip or you are a snowbird
traveling all the time, when considering buying travel insurance,
be sure you are aware of any eligibility requirements that
may affect your purchases, as well as the maximum liability
dollar amount for each coverage.
By purchasing travel insurance you will have peace of mind
knowing that if an awful event were to occur your medical
expenses would be paid for.
